Terms of Service
Effective [Effective date] · Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms govern your use of Converge by Food Printing Tech. They cover what you can do with the Service, who owns what, and the limits of our responsibility.
This agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Food Printing Technologies [LLC / Inc.] ("we", "us"), covering converge.ink, the Converge portal, and the printer connection service (the "Service"). If you use the Service for an organization, you agree to these Terms on its behalf.
If your organization has signed a separate agreement or order form with us, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
Accounts and organizations
- Access to the portal is by invitation from an organization administrator.
- Administrators decide who belongs to the organization and what each person can do, and are responsible for the actions of their users.
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account.
- Give accurate information and keep it current.
Using the Service
You may use the Service to manage print jobs, printers, and substrates for your organization's business. You agree not to:
- Upload content you don't have the right to print or share, or that is unlawful.
- Access another organization's data or try to get around our access controls.
- Interfere with or overload the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or resell the Service, except as the law allows.
- Connect devices to the Service other than supported printers, unless we agree in writing.
Your content
You keep ownership of the artwork, images, and other content you add ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, copy, process, and send Your Content to your printers, only as needed to provide and support the Service.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights needed to print it, including trademark and copyright permissions for any customer artwork.
Printers and print output
Converge sends jobs to your printers and reports their status. You are responsible for operating your printers, supplying ink and substrates, and checking finished prints before you use or sell them. Ink levels and status shown in the portal are reported by the printer and may lag behind the machine's actual state.
Fees
Fees, billing terms, and any service levels are set out in your organization's order form or agreement with us. [Add payment terms if sold without an order form]
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or events outside our control. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a feature your organization relies on, we'll give reasonable notice.
Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the Converge and Food Printing Tech names, belongs to Food Printing Technologies and its licensors. These Terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Suspension and termination
Your organization may stop using the Service at any time, as allowed by its agreement. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other customers. Where practical, we'll give notice first.
After termination, your organization can request an export of its content for [30] days, after which we delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Except as stated in a signed agreement, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount your organization paid us for the Service in the [12] months before the claim.
Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Food Printing Technologies against third-party claims arising from Your Content or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [County, State].
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify organization administrators by email at least [30] days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
